手捺染是一種古老的日本手工染布方式，產品款式眾多，受到國內外的高度評價。其中享有盛名的橫濱手捺染，更已有超過 120年歷史。手捺染也稱為手工印花或手工絲網印花，這種工序繁多又精心的染色技術，能製作出線條分明又顏色豐富的印花布。
要製作手捺染，首先是設計圖形和製作轉印的模具。由於每種顏色圖案都要逐一上色，需為每一種顏色都製作一套模具，待一層顏色乾透，再使用另一圖案的模具塗上另一層的顏色。然後用熱力使顏色固定在布料上，經過多次用水漂洗後，最後乾燥成型後剪裁完成。
手捺染布飾的用途廣泛，可作掛飾、包裝物料或作為手工原材料，用以製作各種布類產品～
